What the work can include

Your quote sets out the agreed tasks for the property. These can include:

  • Discussing plant choices for the location
  • Agreeing whether you or Evergreen arrange supply
  • Preparing suitable planting positions
  • Planting with agreed soil additions or fertiliser
  • Discussing initial watering and establishment care
Is this right for my garden?

Planting is useful when you already have a bed or clear planting area in mind. It suits replacement plants, a small garden refresh and new screening within an agreed scope. If the bed itself needs reshaping, edging or broader soil improvement, soft landscaping may be the better starting point.

How is the work planned?

We consider sunlight, soil, drainage, exposure and the eventual size of the plants. You can share a preferred style or specific plant list. Plant size, supply arrangements and any substitutions should be agreed before purchase. We also discuss who will water and care for the plants after installation.

What about waste and tidy-up?

If old plants or weeds need removal, include them in the scope. Packaging, surplus soil and green waste should have agreed arrangements; planting alone does not imply a whole-garden clearance.

What should I know for my Auckland property?

A sheltered Auckland courtyard and an exposed coastal garden may suit very different plants. Choosing for the conditions and the mature space is more useful than choosing on appearance alone. Establishment depends on conditions and ongoing care; no blanket growth guarantee is assumed.

Good to know

Your landscaping questions.

Can I buy the plants myself?

Yes, supply arrangements can be agreed either way. Discuss species, pot size, quantity and timing before buying so the planting plan remains practical.

Who waters the plants afterwards?

Establishment care needs to be agreed. We will discuss watering expectations, but ongoing visits are not automatically included.
