What the work can include

Your quote sets out the agreed tasks for the property. These can include:

  • Mowing accessible lawn areas
  • Trimming around agreed lawn obstacles
  • Edging along suitable paths and borders
  • Collecting or managing clippings as agreed
  • Tidying cuttings from the immediate work area

Regular cuts or a one-off mow

Tell us the lawn areas and edges to include, your preferred visit pattern and how clippings should be handled. Growth and wet ground can change the timing. A long, neglected lawn may need an initial cut quoted separately from routine care.

Is this right for my garden?

Routine mowing is useful for homeowners, rentals and commercial properties that need their lawn kept manageable. If your grass is very long, the first cut may be a separate clean-up. This service is for existing lawns; preparing ground and laying new turf are covered by ready-lawn installation.

How is the work planned?

We assess the lawn size, slopes, gates and current grass condition. You can tell us the finish you prefer and whether clipping collection matters to you. We then discuss the scope and a visit pattern. Wet or unsuitable ground may affect when mowing can be completed without damaging the surface.

What about waste and tidy-up?

Clippings may be collected, placed in a suitable on-site green-waste bin or handled by another agreed method. The quote should identify the arrangement. Removing accumulated rubbish or animal waste is not an assumed part of routine mowing.

What should I know for my Auckland property?

Auckland lawns vary from sheltered courtyards to exposed sections with wet corners. Growth and ground conditions change through the year. A mowing pattern should respond to the property, rather than assume every lawn needs the same treatment.

Good to know

Your lawn mowing questions.

Is edging included?

It can be. Let us know the paths, borders and other edges you want maintained so they are included in the quote.

What happens if the lawn is too wet?

We assess the conditions and discuss a suitable alternative time where mowing would risk rutting or a poor finish.
